HERGERT, Erika - On December 29, 2008, Erika Josefa Hergert in her 76th year, daughter of Theodore and Annie Ballerstaedt (Germany), passed away peacefully from cancer. Loving wife of Edgar Hergert. Dear mother of Brian and Denise, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Four proud generations in Canada. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital "I Believe" fund for the new cancer wing in Barrie would greatly be appreciated. A memorial service will be held in Erika's remembrance at a later date. Published in the Toronto Star from January 1 to January 3, 2009
