LAVORATO, Ines (nee Covello) - Ines passed away at Etobicoke General Hospital on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in her 80th year. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio. She will be missed by her daughter Alba (Bert Vanderwyst) and her son George (Sheena Turnbull); her grandchildren Stephanie (Matthew Harquail), Joseph, Amanda (Rick Ceccarelli), Nik (fiancee Crissa Guglietti); her great-grandchildren Michael and James Harquail; her brothers Silvio (Santina), Sam (Grace), Gaetano (Saverina); her sisters Sr. Rosaria Covello of Italy, and Adriana (Carmelo De Lorenzo) of Australia. She was a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Ave. (north of Rexdale Blvd.) on Friday, January 2, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Dr. on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens (Hwy. 27 and Albion Rd.). Donations may be made to Etobicoke General Hospital, Palliative Care. We would like to thank the palliative care nurses and in particular, Dr. Vincent Maida for the compassionate care they gave.
