MUTO, Eugenio - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eugenio Muto on December 31, 2008 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Ida (nee Carelli) and dear father to Franca and her husband Victor and Tony and his wife Isabella. He will be remembered with great love by his grandchildren Joe, Dave, Michael and Renee. Survived by his brother Emilio (Giuletta), sister Marietta (Ettore) and Carmela (Giuseppe). Predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe and Luigi and his sister Francesca. Eugenio's family will receive friends at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church (811 Lawrence Ave. at Dufferin St.) at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday January 3, 2009. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W. west of Dufferin St.). In lieu of flowers donations to SickKids Foundation and Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
