KENNETH LESTER GRIESE Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2009 at York Central Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Gwen for 54 years. Loving father of Catherine Moss (Donavan), Jennifer Rotz and Jamie Griese (Karen). Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Kimberly, Amy, Ryan, Sarah, Stephanie, Zach, Emily, Melanie and Luke. Ken was a devoted member of Yorkview Heights Baptist Church for over 50 years and a loyal employee of ScotiaMcLeod for 43 years. Friends may call on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Worldvision or the Canadian Cancer Society.
