jones, Dorothy Ivy (nee McPherson) - Left us peacefully, with her family at her bedside on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. She was predeceased by her father John McPherson, her mother Eugenia George, her sister Isa Koon Haw and former husband Maurice Jones. Devoted mother of Maureen Thorpe, Margaret Khan and Andre Jones. Mother-in-law of Nebert, Merrill and Linda. Loving grandmother of MiLinda Jones (Joe Nabbijohn), Christopher Jones (Nazlin Hirji) and Christian Khan. Beloved great-grandmother (G.G.) of Feeza, Jazmin, Isa, Aaron and Hannah. Funeral service on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Brooklin. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa, followed by a reception at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby. Published in the Toronto Star on November 12, 2009
