HEIGHWAY, Frank - Suddenly on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Trillium Health Centre in his 85th year. Loving husband of Doreen. Loving father of Donna, Kevin, Fred, Bruce and predeceased by son Ken. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Adam, Kyle, Neal, Katharine, Cameron, Adam, Sarah and Peighton. Frank will be fondly remembered by his many great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister Margaret and brother Walter. Predeceased by brothers Ernie, Bill, Harold, Jack and Russell. Frank was a proud Veteran of WWII and, following his discharge, he was employed by Canada Post for over 40 years. Special thanks to the Trillium Health Centre, Dr. Murthy and the staff in the I.C.U. for their wonderful care. Donations may be made to the Lung Association. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves. at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Monday, November 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
