Sven SARING

SARING, Sven - Passed away October 28, 2009 with his family at his side. Born in Toronto on December 23, 1954. Beloved husband of Iris (nee Kneiss); loving father of Marcel and his wife Melissa; doting grandfather of Malcolm, 6 and Matthew, 4. Predeceased by his mother Maiga; survived by father Harry of Pembroke; brother Eric; and cousin Inga Kirsons of Ottawa. Sven's death is shocking and saddening to those who knew this avid cyclist and exercise buff, who never hesitated to lend a hand, give of his time and share his expertise. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, neighbours and his many friends in the Latvian community. Friends may call at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne Street (south of Wellesley), on Monday, November 2, from 1 p.m. A memorial service will be led by Rev. Maris Kirsons at 3 p.m. in the Coach House Chapel of the funeral home, followed by a reception at the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre, 4 Credit Union Drive in Toronto, M4A 2N8.
