Born at Cape Traverse on February 24, 1931, son of the late William and Lottie (nee MacLeod) Trowsdale. Father of Ricky (Janice) Trowsdale, Summerside; Debbie (Erland) Millar, Birch Hill; Fay MacLeod (George Bridges), Summerside; and Sandra (Wendell) Hardy, Freeland. Grandfather of Tanya, Tara, Anthony, Joey, Ernest, Cory, Melissa, Jimmy, Lynn, Kyle, William, Tyler and Jordon. Great-grandfather of Alyssa, Reese, Carson, Sebastian and Christian. Brother of Wayne (Janice), Bideford; Clinton, Summerside; and Verna Gillis, Mississauga, Ont. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Tuesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday at Freeland Presbyterian Church, Freeland, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
