Mary Joan White (nee Doiron), Dartmouth Passed away on November 26, 2009, at Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, in her 86th year. Wife of her late husband, Ernest Galbraith, and more recently, her late husband, Nathan White. Predeceased by her son, Gerald Galbraith; her parents, Rudolph and Josephine Doiron; and brothers, Lawrence, Elmer and Vincent. Survived by her brother, Leo (Bernadette) of Peterborough, Ontario; daughter-in-law, Betty Wemp, and grandson, Robert Wemp, of Kingston, Ontario; sister-in-law, Anne Doiron of Cornwall, P.E.I.; brother-in-law, Fred White (Cora) of Dartmouth; four stepchildren and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 27. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Jan Grotkowski at St. Paul's Church, Windmill Rd., on Saturday, November 28, at 11 a.m. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Bernice may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the fine staff of Oakwood Terrace for the excellent care and many kindnesses shown to Bernice during her many years of residency there.
