Stella Betts July 05, 1905 - November 08, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Stella Thorpe Betts of Edmonton in her 100th year. She is survived by her sons; Eric (Bernice) of Edmonton and Richard (Eileen) of Fort St. John; daughter-in-law Bernice also of BC and sister Jess of Montreal.Granny leaves 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by her loving husband Fred in 1993 and her son George in 2002. The family extends it's deepest thanks to the kind and caring staffs of the Venta Care Centre. A Celebration of Stella's life will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 1010, Royal Bank Bldg., 10117 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5J 1W8.
