Glen G Walsh 1935-2009 Miramichi - Mr. Glen Gordon Walsh, husband of Roberta Walsh, of Water Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday evening November 21, 2009, at the age of 74. Born in Morrison Cove, on July 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruth M. (Young) Walsh. He was a former employee of District #10 School Board and a retired employee of District #16 School Board, in the position of custodian. He was a member of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the fromer Roberta Lockerbie; one daughter, Lynn Layton (Greg), of Riverview; two sons, Derrick Walsh (Janet) and Mark Walsh (Monique), all of Rothesay; two sisters, Mildred Peacock and Florence Allen, both of Port Elgan; one brother, David Walsh (Sharon), of Miramichi; two sisters in law, Mae Walsh and Stella Walsh, both of Miramichi; three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Logan. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ellen Quann and Verne Walsh; three brothers, Byron, William and Charles Walsh. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
