Kenneth B. Thompson 1942-2010 Miramichi - Kenneth Benjamin Thompson, husband of Suzanne Thompson, of the South Napan Road, Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, January 24, 2010, at the age of 67. Born in Center Napan, on July 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Gerald and Henrietta (McAusland) Thompson. He was a retired employee of C.H.T. Steel Co. Ltd, in Toronto; an adherent of Carmel United Church, Napan; a member of the Golden Hawk Senior Dart League; a member of the Golden Hawk Senior Bowling League; a volunteer with the Napan Agricultural Show. He is survived by his wife, the former Suzanne Collette; five daughters, Lori Robb (Allen), of Miramichi, Anne Marie Hogarth (Scott), of Brampton, Ont., Collette Boyd, of London, Ont., Theresa Boyd, of Mississauga, Ont., Sheri Collette, of Napan; One son, Jeff Boyd, of London, Ont.; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Jagoe (Wesley), of Winslow, P.E.I. and Mary Lou Panchoff (Danny), of Brampton, Ont., One brother, William Thompson (Ruth), of Napan; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Welman Thompson. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday evening, from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, from 2-4 7 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from Carmel United Church, on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 2 pm, conducted by Dean Lawrence, assisted by Rev. Cecil Symes and Rev. Dale Greer. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Carmel United Church or the Pine Grove Cemetery Fund, would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, later in the spring.
