Doris Wikgren Pye August 28, 1921 - December 16, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home PYE, Doris Wikgren - 83, Chalet Hamlet, Upper Vaughan, Hants Co., formerly of Ecum Secum, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2004, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on August 28, 1921, in North Shields, England, and was the former Doris Wikgren Renshaw. She was a veteran of the Second World War, serving as an L.A.C.W. in the W.A.A.F. (Women's Auxiliary Air Force), stationed in England. She is survived by son, Frank Pye; daughters, Sylvia Avis, Chalet Hamlet, and Florence Pye (Connie), Ecum Secum; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy George Pye (1986), and son, Alan Archibald Pye. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. No visitation by request. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Ecum Secum or The Canadian Bone Marrow Registry.
