Austin Eugene Sweet 1912 - 2004 Austin E. Sweet, of K.E. Spencers Memorial Home, and formerly of Royal Court passed away at his residence on Friday evening, February 27, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Born in Humphrey Mills, NB on March 15, 1912 he was the son of the late Oliver and Helen (Stultz) Sweet. He was a retired locomotive engineer for The Canadian National Railway. He is survived by his second wife, Virginia Reed of Royal Court, NB; daughter, Helen Christopher (John) of Moncton; sister, Katheryn Tisdale of Ontario; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Alice MacLean in 1967; brothers, Irving, Jack, Percy and Harold; and by sisters, Olga, Jenny and Effie. The memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. Paul Cumming officiating. There will be a reception to follow at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Austin's memory, donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
