Joseph Melvin Burns ADAMS

J. M. Burns Adams 1945-2010 Miramichi - Joseph Melvin Burns Adams, son of Ida and the late Walter Adams, of the North Black River Road, Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at the age of 64. Born in Chatham, on August 23, 1945, he was the son of Ida (Sippley) and the late Walter Adams. He was a retired employee of the Dept. of National Defence, at the former CFB Chatham and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. He is survived by his mother, Ida Adams, of Black River Bridge; two sisters, Lola Maahs, of Sault St. Marie, Ont., and Marina Carroll, of Black River Bridge; four brothers, Percy Adams (Theresa), of Black River Bridge, Carl Adams (Judy), Fred Adams (Donna), all of Miramichi, Jerry Adams (Karen), of Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Kathy Arsenualt; his father, Walter Adams; one brother, Edward Adams. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Friday only, from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm, on Friday, February 5, 2010, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
