DYKEMAN, MURIEL E. The death of Muriel E. Dykeman of 110 McKnight Street, Fredericton, wife of the late C. Burpee Dykeman occurred on Wednesday, March 03, 2004 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Munroe) Ripley. Mrs. Dykeman is survived by one son, Harold Dykeman (Donna) of Fredericton; one daughter, Linda Orchard (Neil) of Island View, NB; five grandchildren, Donald (Cathy) Dykeman of Milton, ON, Douglas Dykeman (Claudia) of Switzerland, Peter Orchard (Karen) of Moncton, Lori Orchard (Daniel Dekleva) of Fredericton and James Orchard of Amherst, NS; four great grandchildren, Sean and Sarah Dykeman of Milton, ON, Nicholas Dykeman of Switzerland and Alyssa Orchard of Moncton; one brother, Harold Ripley of Simco, ON and two sisters, Beatrice Pangburn of Fredericton and Gertrude Trifts of Petitcodiac, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Whites Cove United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are: Peter Orchard and James Orchard (Grandsons); George Thorne, Dr. Robert Trifts, Lawrence Percy and Trevor Pangburn.
