J. Edward Plewes 1937-2004 ALLISTON, ON - The untimely death of Edward Plewes occurred on November 18, 2004 in Newmarket, ON. A funeral service and Holy Communion was held at Trinity Anglican Church, Aurora, ON. Relatives and friends from across Canada gathered to celebrate Ed's life. A service of remembrance and prayer for Ed will be held on Monday, May 23, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530), 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton. Ed was the son of the late Howard John and Jeanette (Reynolds) Plewes of Toronto. He is survived by and is deeply missed by his loving wife, Susan (Shaw) (Smythe) Plewes; sons, Michael and Bradley (Monica) Plewes of Toronto; his mother-in-law, Ethel (Sansom) Shaw of Moncton; stepdaughters, Deborah Smythe of Munich, Germany and Heather Smythe of Ocean Falls, BC; sister, Carol (James Byrnes); brothers, Ross (Marlene O'Connor) and William (Jean Holiday) all of Toronto; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, John (Grace Doyle), Robert (Delores Bulman); sisters, Elva (Donald) Tozer and Rita (Stanley) Jennings; three nieces and two nephews, a stepson, and his father-inlaw, Gordon Shaw of Moncton. Following the burial service in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, the family will be greeting relatives and friends in the Garden View Reception Room of the Funeral Home.
