McDONALD, William Ronald - Suddenly ,at his residence on Monday, December 20, 2004, in his 65 th year. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary (1988). Dear father of Kirk (Linda) of Ingersoll and Shawna of Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Arthur William Burley and newborn Cameron William McDonald. Brother of Thelma (Andy) VanDixhoorn of London, Barbara (Bob) McKinnon of Halifax and James McDonald of Dartmouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his nephew John Timothy McManus. William served 11 years in the Canadian Army in Cyprus and Germany and was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 479. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street. A Legion memorial service will be held at 7 o'clock under the auspices of Branch 479. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the funeral home with Fr. Donald Lizzotti officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
