Micheal Gene Vallance, 56 Micheal Gene Vallance, of RR#5 Brockville, died Nov. 8, 2004 at Brockville General Hospital. He was 56. Born on Sept. 9, 1948 in Brockville to Richard Vallance and Jacqueline Knapp, he married Margaret Vallance (nee Fossitt) Sept. 20, 2003 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Prescott. Mr. Vallance worked at Black and Decker for 37 years before retiring in 2003 to work at DRP Inc, where he was manager. His interests were home and family, trap shooting, hunting, golfing and bowling. He is survived by his wife, sons Lance of Brantford, Micheal (Charlene) of Saint John, N.B., daughters Angie (Stan Bernard) of Spencerville and Jennifer of Calgary, stepsons Mark and Mike Dawson, Brent Hamilton (Melody) of South Carolina, stepdaughter Virgina Hamilton (fiancé Jason Donaldson) of Ottawa, grandchildren Micheal Bernard, Michael and Mathew Vallance, Jacob Hamilton-Dinsmore, brothers Gerald Warren (Heather) of Smiths Falls, George Warren of Brockville, Tim Warren (Brenda) of North Augusta and John Warren of Smiths Falls, stepfather Ronald Warren of Prescott and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Warren. Visitation took place Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, Prescott. A funeral service was held Nov. 12 in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Helen Wilson officiated. Cremation was at Hope Cemetery and Crematorium. A committal service took place Nov. 16 at Hainsville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Stephenson, Gary Cooper, Michael Vallance, Lance Vallance, George Warren and Gerald Warren. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
