ISABEL EVELYN BUSCH Isabel Evelyn Busch, age 89, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, Fort Frances, ON, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2004. Isabel was born on Dec. 22, 1914 in Fort Frances, ON, to Reginald and Jemima Whitefield. She was raised in Fort Frances. She was united in marriage to Gordon Kenneth Busch and together they had five sons. She was a giving person who enjoyed looking after others and had fostered children in the Fort Frances area. Isabel worked for many years at the Rainy Lake as the desk clerk. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 Ladies Auxiliary, and avid bridge player and had danced for many years with the Square Dancing Club. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Gordon, son, Ken in 1952, brothers, Reg and George Whitefield, and sisters, Dolly Durbin and Olive Fagerdahl. Isabel is survived by her children, Jack (Pearl) of Goldon, B.C., Dennis (Bev) of Fort Frances, ON, Gary (Sharon) of London, ON, and Gordon (Christine) of Fort Frances, ON; grandchildren, Shelly, Laurie, Karen (Mark) Angus, Kristen (Ron Taylor), Kevin, Alice (Tony Dupuis), Jamie (Melissa) and Jackie (Matt Gushuliak); great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda Angus, MacKenzie Taylor, Nicholas, Jessie, Monty Dupuis, Carley, Jonathan Busch and Hailey Gushuliak; sisters-in-law, Millie Whitefield and Lottie Whitefield of Fort Frances, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home with Father Wayne McIntosh officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. The pallbearers will be her grandchildren. If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 osborne St., Fort Frances, ON P9A 3T2.
