PHYLLIS IOLINE MUNN Phyllis Ioline Munn, 81, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully with her family, brother, and sister by her side on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004. Phyllis was born June 15, 1923 in Emo, Ont. to Fred and Josephine Clark. Phyllis married Kenneth Munn on July 1, 1943 in the United Church Manse in Emo. Phyllis and Ken spent the most part of their married life in their current home in Fort Frances, where she stayed at home to look after her family. She enjoyed spending time in her many vegetable and flower gardens in the summer time, and in her earlier years spent many winter days ice fishing and snowmobiling. Playing Bingo and cards also were favourite pastimes. Anytime someone would mention a game of Crib, she was ready to drop everything in hopes of a Skunk game in her favour. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Josephine Clark; stepmother, Nancy (Brady) Clark; sisters, Dorothy Elliott and Rita Clark; and brother, Cecil Clark. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ken, of 61 years; children, Donna Law and her daughter, Trisha, Terry (Pam) Munn and their daughter, Jessica, and Dianne (Doug) Hoffman and their son, Scott, all of Fort Frances, Ont.; sister, Hazel Clark and brother, Melvin Clark, both of Emo, Ont.; as well numerous nephews, nieces, and in-laws. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005 from 7-8:30 p.m. Interment will take place at the Emo Cemetery at a later date.
