CRAWFORD, George Hayward (1913-2004) - Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years, on Tuesday, December 28, 2004. Beloved husband of Edna (née Ballam). He will be sadly missed yet never forgotten by his children: Alan Hayward Crawford (Kathy) and Jean Patricia Crawford (Dave Derrick) of Lavigne, Eldon Crawford (Stella) of Sudbury, and his stepson Shane McCrystal of Orillia. Predeceased by one son Marvin Gord Crawford. He leaves a rich legacy of memories to his 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and to his niece and nephews: Miriam Bakke and Dave Crawford of North Bay, and Alan and Jim Crawford of British Columbia. The family will receive relatives and friends at the THÉORæT FUNERAL HOME from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, December 29, 2004. The funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Jean Legault at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Theoret Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Society or the Palliative Care Unit of the West Nipissing General Hospital would be appreciated.
