BRASLOFF, Joseph Lazarus. Born in Los Angeles, October 21, 1924 and passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 1998 at the Jewish General Hospital. Survived by his beloved wife Sylvia Neporent. Devoted father of John, Charles, Daniel (Monique). Grandfather of Mackenzie and Olivia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Reuben and Phyllis Brasloff and brother-in-law of Helena Neporent, Karloy Losonciz and the late Beatrice Datner. Cherished uncle of Laura Landauer. Son-in-law of the late Leona Leffell and the late Mark Neporent. Nephew of the late Sarah Freeman. Admired member of the community from years of dedication to scouting in Western District and coaching at Terrebonne Park. A good corporate citizen for over thirty years through his devotion to his adopted east end community. He will always be loved and cherished by all who knew him. Funeral service from Beth Olam Levayah, 8255 Bougainville (corner of Decarie and de la Savane) on Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
