Dear father of William and wife Terri of Baie D'Urfe, Linda Service of Feversham, Ontario, Scott and Craig of Shediac. Loving grandfather of Alyssa, William, Deanne and Christopher. Dear brother of Jack Upsdell of Guelph, Ontario. Dear son-in-law of Audrey Dunn of Laval. Predeceased by son-in-law Dean Service. William was a cub leader, minor hockey coach and chairperson of a school committee. Friends will be received at Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk Street, Guelph on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 1998. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Victorian Order of Nurses or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
