ALFORD, Mary Elizabeth (nee Sims). Died August 3, 1998 after a short illness. Beloved wife of Douglas Alford, after knowing each other for sixty years. Survived by children David Alford of Calgary and Jean MacMillan of Denman Island, B.C., as well as seven grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Lambert United Church.
