ASHFORD, Lorraine Agnes Marion. Passed away at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Wednesday, August 5, 1998. Lorraine Stevenson, beloved wife of Alvin "Al" Ashford in her seventy-third year. Dearly loved mother of David Ashford (wife Diane) of London, Laurie Girard (husband Steven) and Cathy McKeogh (husband Terry) all of Montreal. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Geoffrey, Leah, Sean and Matthew. Dear sister of Gwen Stevenson of Odessa, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents John and Agnes Stevenson and by her granddaughter Amy. Memorial visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld Street, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 1Z5, 705-472-8810) on Saturday, August 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunshine Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
