WHYTE, Lionel. On Wednesday, August 5, 1998 at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, Ontario, at the age of eighty years. Beloved husband and best friend of the former Eleanor LeDain. Loving father of Marilyn Whyte of Toronto and Bob Whyte (Francoise) of Orleans. Dear grandfather of Shelley Conway (Richard) of Montreal and Ken Hall (and fiance Veronique) of Toronto. Also survived by his brother Alec Whyte (Margie) of Hudson, PQ, and his sister Eleanor Greig (Robin) of Toronto. Fondly remembered by nieces, other relatives and many friends. The Funeral Ceremony - A Celebration of Lionel's life - will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8, in the Chapel of the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville. The family will receive friends after 12 noon. Interment in Brockville at a later date. In remembrance, donations to the charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
