Sadie MARCOVITCH

BLUMSTEIN, Sadie (nee Marcovitch). Aged seventy-nine years, after a courageous fight with lung cancer on Thursday, August 6, 1998. Wife of the late Peter Blumstein. She will be sadly missed by her children Trudy (John), Gordon, Stephen, Louise (Peter) and Valerie (Ivan) and by her sisters Fay and Elsie. Predeceased by her daughter Sheila and her brother Sam. Bubba deeply missed by her grandchildren Ian, Daniel, Niall, Melanie and Lauren. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Staff of Mount Sinai Hospital and the wonderful doctors and nurses who grew close to her, especially Dr. Marc Palayew and Estie Dajczman of the Jewish General Hospital, Celia Wallace and Carol Denberg of the C.L.S.C., Cote des Neiges. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, August 9, 1998 at 10 a.m. The family will be sitting Shiva in their mother's home at 5757 Lemieux #103.
