BARR, Lorne E. Proud Veteran of WWII Past Business Manager of I.B.E.W., Local 636 Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, with his loving wife, Joan, by his side, on Friday, September 3, 2004. Lorne Barr, in his 79th year, dear father of Ken Bar r (Leona), Garry Barr (Janie), all of Kingston, and Glenda Barr (Jeff) of Calgary. Loving grandfather of Greg (Laura), Kelly (Sean), Nicole (Rob), Sarah (Kris), Braeden and Jarrett, and great grandfather of Ashleigh. Dear brother of Kenneth Barr (Jun e) and father-in-law of Sandra Barr, all of Kingston. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Edna Barr and by sister Geraldine Thomas. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Wayne Varley officiating. Interment Sydenham Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Ass ociation or The Heart and Stroke Foundation, in Mr. Barr's memory.
