SALIT, Benjamin (Ben). In his eighty-seventh year on August 8, 1998 following an accident. Beloved husband of Rachel Schecter and the late Deborah Salit. Loving father and father-in-law of Rhona and Mel Small, and Doctor Irving and Jeanne Salit. Cherished and proud grandfather of Jeffrey and Lorne Small, Joanna and Rebecca Salit. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Bea and the late Nathan Silver, the late Florence and the late Alex Vineberg, Beatrice and the late Bill Salit. He will be sadly mourned by Lionel and Cynthia Clare, and Frances Clare, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Loved by Karen and Fred Silver and Dr. Milton and Ruth Schecter and their children. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West on Monday, August 10 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Cemetery Sources Road, D.D.O. Shiva at 2160 Cushing.
