GRIFFIN, Alma Jean Peacefully at home, on Saturday, September 19, 2004, in her 83rd year. Alma (nee Holmes), beloved wife of the late Allan Alexander Griffin. Dear mother of Jane Margaret Griffin of Kingston and Wendy Joanne Hadlock (Douglas) of West Chesterfield, New Hampshire. Loved by her grandchildren Andrea Lynch, Tracy Sullivan, Allan Dunham and Christopher Hill and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Elaine Sequin of Cornwall and predeceased by siblings Alfred Holmes, Ruth Chetwynd and John Holmes. In keeping with Mrs. Griffin's wishes, cremation will be followed by a memorial service in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, (Counter Street at Highway 2) on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 1 p.m., with Mr. Jim Black offici ating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Inurnment at Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson Foundation or The Heart & Stroke Foundation, in her memory.
