Wilbert Hunter Of Perth Road passed away at Fairmount Home on September 28, 2004 at the age of 84. Born in Inverary he was the only son of Charles and Almetta Hunter. Wilbert worked at Alcan for 32 years and since his retirement in 1981 as well as sh aring his home by the lake with family and friends; he enjoyed watching the activity of Buck Lake and supervising the ongoing craftwork of his late wife Bernice. Up until a few years ago he enjoyed going fishing and taking his yearly trips to Twin La ke Hunting Camp to deer hunt. Wilbert is survived by son Robert and his wife Lenore, daughter Betty and her husband Dick Hulton, his four granddaughters Charlene Hogeboom (Corey), Leslie Hunter, Jennifer and Ashley Hulton, his great grandchildren Nat han, Montana and Matthew Hogeboom and one sister Helen Smith. He was predeceased by his parents, brother in law Elwood Smith and Bernice, his wife of 58 years. Interment was Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Glenburnie. 10/9/2004- ID4977657 - Kingston Whig Standard
