REID, Harold (Retired Manager of Reid's Esso Service Station for 46 Years) Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, after a lengthy illness. Loving husband of Eleanore Nugent of 56 years. Dear father of Michael (M arion) and Dwight (Kathy). Cherished grandfather of Jonathon and Colin. Survived by sisters Thelma Wood, Betty Milne (Harvey II) and Brother Wilson (Eileen). Predeceased by brothers Donald, Gordon and Wilbert. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces , nephews and cousins. Charity fish fry's will never be the same without Harold's fish frying expertise. Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Waterloo Village) on Sunday, October 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word Service in Our Chapel on Monday, October 18 at 11 a.m. A family interment service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to P.C.C.C. St. Mary's of the Lake Site Palliativ e Care Unit or the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated in Harold's memory. Members of the Kingston Lions Club, will gather at the funeral home for a Lions Memorial Service, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. All Lions members are welcome to attend. Brothers of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, Frontenac Council #728 will gather at the funeral home, Sunday evening at 7 p.m. for Vigil Prayers. All brother knights are welcome to attend.
