Gerald Foster CHASE

Gerald Foster Chase Gerald Foster Chase, Gananoque, passed away suddenly of a massive stroke at the Kingston General Hospital on August 20, 2004. He was born October 12, 1924, at Joyceville, Ontario to Foster and Sarah (nee Stoliker), who predeceased him. He served as clerk in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1943 to 1946 and farmed until 1955 with his father on the family farm on Woodburn road. In 1949 he married Geraldine Ellen Dailey at Grace United Church. Gerald retired in 1987 after servi ng 32 years at the Gananoque Post Office. Left to mourn his loss are his wife Geraldine and sons Robin (Cheryl) in Winnipeg, and Peter (Debbie): grandchildren Rebecca (Chad) Keates, and Jackson and Jeffrey, and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah and Liam Keates, all of Seeley's Bay. Gerald was survived by his sister, Phyllis Clow, Joyceville. the funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. H. Seeley at Tompkins Funeral Home on Monday August 23, 2004 with interment following at the Gananoque C emetery.
