VIAU Paul, c.a.a. At the military hospital in London, Ontario, on September 15, 1998, at the age of eighty years, following a lengthy illness, passed away Mr. Paul Viau, c.a.a., formerly of Montreal. He leaves to mourn his wife, Margaret (Peggy) Lavinskas, his daughters, Diane (Robert D. Perigoe) of Scottsdale, Az., and Louise, his grandchildren, Kelly and Robin Perigoe, as well as Ashley Viau. He also leaves to mourn his brothers Jacques (Jeanne Lefebvre), Bernard (Monique Meilleur), his sister Lucile (Gerard Begin), and his sisters-in-law Suzanne Gratton-Viau, (late Guy Viau), Della Ploplis and Elda Lavinskas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A prayer gathering will be held on Friday, September 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Niedham Funeral Home, 520 rue Dundas in London. Burial of ashes will take place at the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Military Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Viau was a Lieutenant in the artillery regiment and was President of the Canadian Legion, Jean-Brillant Branch. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 465 Boul.
