PATON Velma-Roop. Died peacefully at the Bedford Hospital after a long and courageous battle against cancer at age seventy-nine, September 26, 1998. Survived by husband John (Jack) Paton, daughters Jill (Joseph) Crociata, Donna Paton, grandchildren James, Robin, Joseph, Matthew, and Anna-Marie, great-grandchildren Nicholas and Isabella. Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Bedford, 40 Dupont Street, Thursday, October 1, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.M.P. Hospital Foundation, 950 Main Street, Cowansville, Quebec J2K 1K3, would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged by the family.
