ETHERINGTON, Doris G.E. Her spirit has soared, and the tiny lady is at rest. Peacefully, at The Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on November 29th, 2004, Doris Gertrude Eileen Etherington (nee Cooper), of Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, Pe terborough, Ontario, beloved wife of the late Walter Ker Etherington (1954). Dear mother of Kery Lee Stuart (William) of Bath, Ontario and David Bruce Etherington of Toronto, Ontario. Grandmother of Randy Stuart (Shelly) of Surey, B.C. and Tracey (Ri chard Henwood) of Kingston, Ontario. Great-grandmother of Sydney, Madeline and Nicole, all of Surey, B.C. Sister of Marsh A. Cooper of Toronto and Adele Ferguson of London, Ontario. Also predeceased by her parents Fred and Gertrude Cooper, sister Cla ire Snyder and brother Alan Cooper. Doris returned to teaching English at Beamsville High School after the death of her husband, later becoming a Teaching Master at Peterborough Teachers College. After amalgamation of the College with Queen's Univers ity, she moved to Kingston to be an Associate Professor of Primary Methods at Queen's McArthur College, retiring to Peterborough in 1978. As per her wishes, no funeral service will be held. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Inurnment wil l be at Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
