ROUTTENBERG Max. In his ninety-first year on Saturday, October 3, 1998. Beloved husband of the late Raelene and the late Beatrice. Cherished father and father-in-law of Lois and Bill Shubert, and Frema and Mark Routtenberg. Devoted brother of Anne Singer (the late Hyman), David Routtenberg (Tessie), Sarah Routtenberg and the late Rae Mackie (the late Ted). Adoring grandfather of Joanie and Sydney Abramson of Boca Raton, Florida, Shirley and David Shapiro, Lianne and Michael Routtenberg, and Heather and Lawrence Routtenberg. Zaida Max will always be remembered by his great-grandchildren, Dara, Shoshana, Lauren and Yonah Abramson, Adam and Jacob Shapiro, and Darby and Oliver Routtenberg. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services took place from Paperman and Sons on Sunday, October 4, at 2:45 p.m. Due to the festival of Sukkot, there will be no shiva. The family would like to thank Marivic, Leony, Lillian, Malcolm and Margaret, as well as the caring staff at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
