WHEATLEY McDERMOTT SMITH Vera-Katherine. * On Thursday, October 8, 1998, passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Edward Johnson McDermot and the late Leonard Wheatley, loving sister of Fred Smith and dear step-mother of Lynda Gordon. Resting at Wray Walton Wray Funeral Home, 1459 Towers Street, Montreal (corner de Maisonneuve Blvd. West, parking on premises, or Guy Concordia Metro, St.Mathieu Street Exit). Visitation Tuesday, October 13, 1998 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Mount Royal Cemetery.
