SCALE VERGE Maureen (nee Verge). Passed away peacefully at home in Victoria, B.C. on October 11, 1998. She fought a fight with cancer that brought incredible inspiration to her family and friends. At the young age of forty-nine, she leaves to mourn her husband Wayne, her father James Verge (Simone, his wife), her brothers and sister, Stewart (Carmen), Dorothy (Silavno), Dennis (Gill), James Jr. (Liz), many nieces, nephews and countless relatives and friends. A memorial service was held in Victoria on October 14, 1998. Donations can be made in her name to the Make a Wish Foundation of Canada (2208 Spruce Street, Vancouver V6H 2P3).
