GOODFELLOW BROWN Hildegarde-Godwin (Nee Brown). In Dorval on October 14, 1998, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of eighty-five. She leaves behind her family, beloved husband George, married fifty-seven years, loving mother of sons Douglas (Meb), and David (Elizabeth), and devoted grandmother of Christy, Cathy, Olivia, and Angela. Predeceased by her sister Francis Hollinger of Langley, B.C. and brother Howard Brown of Lachine, Qc. Hildy was a graduate of Westmount High School and went on to study Dietetics at MacDonald College. She was a resident of the Town of Mount Royal for twenty years and moved to Woodlands (Lery) in 1963. Hildy travelled extensively and was an avid skier having made thirty consecutive annual trips to Murren, Switzerland. She was also a skilled duplicate bridge player. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Wilson Funeral Home, 123 Maple Avenue in Chateauguay on Friday, October 16 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 1998 at St. Andrew's United Church, 46 Dupont in Chateauguay at 11 a.m. with interment at the family plot on the Chateauguay river road followed by a reception at the family home in Ville de Lery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated.
