WHITMORE, Katrina "Kay" (nee Jossul) In loving memory of Katrina "Kay" Whitmore (nee Jossul), 81 years of Sudbury, who passed away peacefully while visiting Sault Ste Marie and surrounded by her loving family on Friday January 9th, 2004. Born in Manitoba and a long time resident of Sudbury, Kay was an active member of St. Luke's United Church. She was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. Kay will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Beloved wife of Fred Whitmore (predeceased 1972). Loving mother of Jo Anne Simpson (predeceased 1961), Roy (wife Audrey) of Sault Ste Marie, Kay (wife Louise) of Toronto, Gwen Pedersen (husband Ray) of Kitchener, Bruce (wife Pattie), Brenda Hyndman (husband Bob) and Betty Whitmore all of Sudbury. Greatly loved Nanny of her 14 grandchildren Joel (Leanne), Shelly (Bill), Sarah, Kay Jr (Genea), Keith (Kim), Kirk (Lisa), Mark (Tara), Luke, Chad (Shannon), Justin (Monique), Christy (Hugh), Cori (Dwayne) and Robbie and 16 great grandchildren. Will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. J. Robertson and staff at the Soo Area Hospital for their excellent care and compassion and to Helen Smith from Willow Grove United Church from all of the family. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday, January 14th, 2004 at 1 pm. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the St. Luke's United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
