McCUTCHEON, Evelyn Evelyn McCutcheon of Puslinch, Ontario, formerly of Nairn Centre passed away at the Morriston Park Nursing Home, Puslinch, on Saturday, January 17, 2004 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Tom McCutcheon (1976). Dear daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (nee Klose) Marshall. Loving mother of Ellen Allain of Mississauga and the late Dorothy Nelmes (1990) and the late Bobby McCutcheon. Very dear sister of the late Edith Brewer, Harold Marshall and Bruce Marshall. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Evelyn Moores, Lynne Thibeault, Karen Nelmes, Cheryl Coker, Amanda Boyd, Lori Oldfield and spouses, and great-grandchildren Billy, Tommy, Indira, Miranda, Krista, Jasmine, Shanice, Tyler, Riley, Joshua and Braydon. Evelyn, being a woman ahead of her time served as Reeve for Nairn Centre from 1949 to 1952. She had also served as councillor and volunteered for several committees and organizations in Nairn. She was a member of the United Church Women and the Nairn Twilighters. Friends may call at the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola on Wednesday, January 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 22 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Faulkner officiating.
