WARREN, Esther, Lillian (nee Anstey) In loving memory of Esther Warren, 94 years of Sudbury who passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2004, at the Extendicare York Sudbury. She was born in Grand Bank, Newfoundland and married George Warren in 1930 in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. Esther came to Sudbury in 1947 from Newfoundland. A woman of faith, she had, in younger years, actively participated in the ministries and fellowship at St. Paul's United Church. Always an active person, she had been a champion bowler and a keen bridge player. She was a real people person who kept up with current issues, never living in the past. She was devoted to her loving family taking great interest and pride in their activities and accomplishments. Beloved wife of George Warren, predeceased 1978. Loving mother of Ann (husband John Sorgini) of Sudbury, Bruce (wife Mildred) of Onaping Lake, Kay (husband Mervyn Kerr) of Alliston. Cherished grandmother of Rick (wife Brenda), Curtis (wife Paula), Shelley, Jeffrey (wife Sandra), Ward (wife Bonnie), Todd (wife Claire), Kathryn (husband Rick), Deborah (husband Robert), Kimberly (husband David) and 19 great-grand- children. Dear sister of the late Wilson, Charles, Jim, Wallace, Dinah, Sue, Frances and Betty, all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, January 30, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Parklawn Cemetery.
