LONG, Clifford A. April 7, 1911 - February 6, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our father at the age of 92 years. Clifford was born in Barkway, Ontario and moved to Sudbury to work for INCO. He lived in Minnow Lake for most of his life and upon retirement moved to Markstay. He raised four children with his wife Sarah Fontaine. His beloved Sarah, baby Theresa, age 2, and eldest son Fred predeceased him. He married Blanche Cardinal and they shared over 30 years of marriage prior to her death in 2001. They shared their lives with a large blended family, who treated them with love and care. After the death of Blanche, he moved to Brampton where he spent the remainder of his life in the presence of his loving family which included many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial mass and service, mourning his passing and celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2004, at Holy Redeemer Church. The church is located at 1887 Bancroft Drive, at First Avenue in Minnow Lake. Refreshments will be served after the service. Clifford supported a foster child in South America and his family requests that donations, in lieu of flowers, is made to: Foster Parents Plan of Canada, 95 St. Clair Avenue, Suite 1001, Toronto, Ontario M4V 3B5. 2/10/2004- ID3415869 - Sudbury Star
