KINNONEN, Walter George In loving memory of Walter George Kinnonen, 64 years, who passed away Sunday, February 29th, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Born at the family farm on Long Lake he apprentised at Takala Service Station in Creighton obtaining his Mechanics Lisence in 1963. Walter drove transport for Pioneer Construction and then for Shell Canada, retiring with 30 years of service. In his younger days he was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a devoted Nascar Fan. Walter will be lovingly remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his dedication to family. Beloved husband of Geralda "Tootsie" (O'Connor) Kinnonen of Walford. Loving father of Gerald predeceased 1969, Marie (husband Larry Jowitt) of Winnipeg, Adele and Wendy (husband Marc Labelle) both of Coniston and Glenn predeceased 1991. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Abby and Christina. Dear son of Vaino (wife Ida) and Signe (Hongell) Kinnonen all predeceased. Dear brother of Elsie (husband Eldon Ritchie), Vi, Sylvia (husband Flo Bouget), Arvo (wife Mary-Lou), Nancy (husband Ted Armstrong predeceased), Ron (wife Simone), predeceased by William, Mary (husband Mike Hanuszczak of Lively), Ken and Eva (husband Tauno Ponne). Dear son in law of Francis predeceased and Claudine O'Connor of Sudbury. Dear brother in law of Lawrence, Patrick, Kathleen (husband Al Richkun), Doug (wife Florence), Melanie (husband Chuck Skavinski) and Melissa. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Thursday, March 5th, 2004 at 11:30 am. Interment in the St. John Cemetery, Garson.
