TYMECKI, Stanislas (Stan) Stanislas Tymecki (Stan) of Sarnia passed away at Bluewater Health- Mitton Site on Friday March 12th, 2004 at the age of 89 years. Stan joins in Heaven his wife Jeanette (Duscher), second wife Yvonne (Barbo), son Michael, and so many other family and friends. Stanley will be missed by his special friend Leokadia Kulpa, whom he always referred to as "The Lady" (The strong, kind or wonderful). He was blessed to have such a caring person in his life for so long. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Tracie and Steve McGregor, Kim Tymecki and Kent and Cathy Tymecki; as well as the many others he adopted as his own. Lest we forget. He was on active duty before war began in Poland, and was a fighting member of the Pancer Division during the war. He received many medals but ones to note are the Cross of Valour, the English Defence Medal, and the French Defence Medal. He was a long-standing member of the Polish Combatants Association (Branch 11) and the Polish Alliance (Group 14). Visitation at the STEWART FUNERAL HOME, 254 George Street, Monday 7-9 pm. Prayers will be offered at 8 pm. Prayers will be offered at 8 pm Monday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Church (566 Rosedale Avenue) on Tuesday at 11 am with Father Stan Rodzinka officiating. Cremation to follow.
