CELONE, Giovanni - At the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Saturday December 25, 2004. Giovanni Celone of Grand Avenue; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Pasqualina Miranda. Dear father of Dominic Celone (Deborah) (Andrew) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Dora Paravan (Frank) of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Maria Pia, Frankie and Christina. Dear son of the late Francesco Celone and the late Dora Desiderio. Dear brother of Dominic Celone (late Clorinda) and Anna Orlanda (Luca) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by four brothers Vincenzo, Antonio, Geraldo and Eliodoro. Dear brother-in-law of Carmine and Anna Miranda of Montreal. Dear uncle of Antonio, Maria Teresa, Salvatore, Tony, Dora, Savario, Gerry and the late Brigida and the late Frank. He will be sadly missed by many family members and friends in Italy. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday December 30, 2004 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 10 a.m. followed by entombment at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetry, Ottawa. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral on Thursday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
