LABELLE, Augustin - Peacefully at his residence with his wife and family at his side on Monday, August 9, 2004. Joseph Augustin Labelle of 33 Sixth Street West; formerly of 48 William Street; age 92 years. Loving husband for 70 years of Germaine (née Faubert). Dear father of Lucien Labelle (Claudette Grenier) of Casselman, Florian Labelle (Thérèse Séguin) of Ingleside, Augustin Labelle Jr. (Louise Poissant) and Thorn Curtain (Pauline Lacroix) both of Aylmer, Noëlla Labelle (Georges D’Aoust) of Greely, Ronald Labelle (Eileen McCullough) of Chelsea, Aline Pilgrim (Bob) and Thérèse (Terri) Guay both of Cornwall and Michel Labelle (Dana Kelly) of Gatineau. Predeceased by one daughter, Hélène Soumillon. Dear son of the late Jean-Baptiste Labelle and the late Eloïse (née Beaudry). Beloved brother of Mrs. Yvonne Burelle of Cornwall. Predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Alfred Labelle and by two sisters, Mrs. Clémentine Régnier and Mrs. Régina Ménard. Will be sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday, August 12, 2004 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Church at 10 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral on Thursday.
