Cherished wife of George Harold Hirst. Dear daughter of the former Mary Catherine Meagher and the late Albert Edward Gratton. Most beloved sister of Michael Gratton of Toronto and Sheila (Mrs. Tom Smyth) of Ottawa. Dear sister-in-law of Jim Hirst of Cornwall and Bill Hirst (Claudette) of Kingston. Loving aunt of Jennifer and Alison and Kevin and great-aunt of five great-nephews. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Friday, July 2, 2004 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.
